Mareva Injunction was formed by a group of Land Registry colleagues in late 2002 consisting of Andy Turton (bass guitar and vocals), Simon Jones (keyboards, programming and vocals) and Math Charlton (guitar, programming and vocals).
After about six months of rehearsals, they performed twice during 2003: at Doc's in Southsea on 14 June and Cheriton Village Hall in Cheriton on 6 September. The band's material comprised mostly of covers but included a number of songs penned individually by Simon and Math.
The band members agreed to go on a hiatus after the second gig. After the closure of the Land Registry and Andy's move away from Portsmouth, it can be assumed that the band are unlikely to reconvene.
